The UK hotel market experienced a rapid recovery during the latter half of 2021, following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions and highlighting the positive consumer sentiment towards hospitality and travel. The recovery was fuelled by a rise in domestic travel across the UK, with Staycation hotspots in particular benefitting from strong levels of demand. ADR levels also recovered at a faster pace than occupancy.
